NanoClear Technologies (NCT ®)
Our Story
Founded in 2014, NanoClear Technologies (“NCT”) is an emerging leader in the manufacturing of innovative semiconductor equipment and associated, environmentally friendly chemical technologies used to create ultra smooth surfaces on silicon wafers and their component parts.
NCT was inspired by research on the Lotus leaf’s surface nanostructures that prevent rainwater from wetting the leaves, while directing water droplets to the center of its leaves. Co-founder Dr. Frank Greer launched NCT to initially develop solutions for the problem of degraded visibility due to fogging in goggles, masks, windows, and windshields.
